Welcome to Do-Nation UK Project

We encourage a "NATION" of people to "DO" something positive to help themselves and their local community.

Working together to make a difference in the lives of others

Do-Nation UK is an outreach programme that is designed to support those who are disenfranchised and underrepresented within the local Birmingham community. The name Do-Nation is a play on the word donation, with emphasis on the words “Do” and “Nation”. The Project promotes individual, as well as collective well-being and development. It nurtures the idea of a nation of people doing something positive to make a difference in their own lives and in the lives of others.

Do-Nation UK was set up by sisters Janet and Paulinah Eboh-Sampson to provide a creative platform within the Midlands for social engagement, empowerment and enrichment. The project aims to capitalise on the shift in global consciousness within the creative industry by using fashion as a medium for affecting change. The project has since developed by launching its #Fashion4ACause Campaign; the official launch event took place on Saturday 4th November 2017 at Canalside Birmingham, in aid of the African Caribbean Leukaemia Trust (ACLT) and the Rik Basra Leukaemia Campaign.

The project will host an annual fashion showcase and fundraising event in support of local causes, proceeds from these events will be donated to a chosen registered charity. Our 2017 Campaign is currently in support of the African Caribbean Leukaemia Trust and the Rik Basra Leukaemia Campaign. If you would like to make a donation to either of these charities then please click on the button below.

Future campaigns that will run as part of this programme include:

* Fashion Forward

* Fashion Focus

* Future Face of Fashion
